For the analyst being pushed into bigger problems

Don't just learn frameworks. Learn when to use them.

I've spent 18 years watching smart people reach for the wrong framework with total confidence. Scrum for a support queue. A neural net for a rule of thumb. Six Sigma for a problem nobody had measured yet. The tool was never the issue — the timing was. These 30 courses fix that, across four stages: Diagnose, Automate, Manage, Deliver.

The four-stage system

A problem enters. Delivered value exits.

01

Diagnose

Frameworks for Finding the Real Problem

“What is the actual problem here — and is it the one I was handed?”

Learn root-cause frameworks like A3 and DMAIC, and diagnose the real problem before anyone commits budget — the skill senior job descriptions ask for first.

For students learning their first problem-solving framework, and for analysts and managers who must diagnose root causes before leadership commits budget.

02

Automate

Frameworks for Choosing the Right Technology

“Which parts of this can a machine do — and which parts require my judgment?”

Learn Python, AI, and ML frameworks, and evaluate which tasks machines should take — so your judgment goes where it actually matters.

For students writing their first script, and for senior engineers who must evaluate build-versus-buy trade-offs and champion the right automation.

03

Manage

Frameworks for Keeping Work Moving

“What gets built first — and how do I keep delivery moving when requirements shift?”

Learn Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks, and adapt your methodology when requirements shift mid-flight — without losing the delivery window.

For students learning how real projects run, and for PMs and team leads who must adapt methodology while delivery pressure mounts.

04

Deliver

Frameworks for Landing Results That Last

“Which infrastructure fits this workload — and how do I stop it breaking at 2am?”

Learn architecture and communication frameworks, and advise stakeholders while you drive measurable impact — from first deploy to executive readout.

For students preparing for their first production release, and for architects and leaders who advise stakeholders on reliability and impact.

The foundation layer

“How you decide under bias and pressure.”

Under every framework sits a cognition layer: the biases, incentives, and failure modes that determine whether the framework works at all. Anchoring in diagnosis. Sunk-cost in cloud architecture. Recency bias in prioritisation. Confirmation bias in retrospectives. One track. No frameworks — just the machinery that decides whether frameworks get used well.

See it in action

One problem, carried all the way through.

The problem

Returns spike 34% in six weeks. Leadership wants it fixed by end of month. Here's how the same problem moves through all four stages — one thread, no handoffs:

01

Diagnose

A3 Problem-Solving + Six Sigma DMAIC

Skip the campaign. Map it on one A3 page first. DMAIC's Measure phase shows 71% of returns come from a single category — and the reason codes say sizing inconsistency, not product quality.

Result: “Fix returns” becomes “fix sizing data for Category X.” Much smaller problem. Much cheaper fix.

02

Automate

Applied ML (PDMV Framework) + Python

A size-recommendation model is the obvious candidate. Obvious is dangerous. PDMV starts with the decision — “which size do we show this customer?” — and a plain collaborative filter beats the neural net here. Less data needed. Easier to defend to merchandising.

Result: Scoped, built, and validated in two weeks. Not two months.

03

Manage

Modern PM (Value-Risk-Adapt) + Kanban

Engineering wants to rebuild the whole returns flow. Of course they do. The VRA question — what delivers value fastest at acceptable risk? — cuts it down to one widget on the product page. Kanban keeps the two weeks visible. No scope creep. No status theatre.

Result: Shipped in the delivery window. Backlog intact. No heroics required.

04

Deliver

AWS Solutions Architecture + DevOps

Production time. The Well-Architected review says Lambda behind the existing API gateway beats a container cluster at this traffic. Retraining runs monthly off fresh returns data. And if the model isn't confident? It shows the old size chart. Boring. Reliable.

Result: Live in production. Retraining automated. Nobody paged at 2am.

Returns in Category X dropped 28% in the first month after launch.

How you'll learn

Text-first. Practice-heavy. No video lectures.

Framework First is built for working professionals: everything is designed to be read, applied, and finished — not watched in the background.

15-minute text lessons

Short, dense reading you can finish between meetings — not hour-long video lectures.

Hands-on exercises

Apply the framework to a realistic scenario, right in the module where you learned it.

Quizzes & assessments

Check your judgment, not just your memory — most questions are situational.

Certificate on completion

Finish a course and get a shareable certificate, automatically.

What's inside

Not video playlists. A working toolkit.

Every course ships with the artifacts I actually use on engagements — the templates, worksheets, and code starters, not just the theory. Download them, keep them, use them Monday morning.

📚

25+ downloadable resources

Templates, checklists, worksheets, decision tables, and code starters attached to the exact module that teaches them. The A3 template. The premortem guide. The Terraform VPC skeleton.

✅

655+ knowledge-check questions

Every one of the 195 modules has a situational quiz — not trivia, judgment. 'Which framework, for this mess, and why?' Wrong answers come with explanations, not just red marks.

🛠️

Real capstone projects

Every course ends with you applying the framework to a scenario with real constraints and no answer key. Certificates are auto-issued on completion — verifiable, with a unique code.

📊

Progress that tracks itself

Streaks, completion tracking, a dashboard that knows what you should learn next, and a referral program that pays a free month for every friend you bring in. Real platform, not a folder of PDFs.

The difference

Why this is different.

“What is Six Sigma?”

“When does DMAIC fit — and when does it quietly make things worse?”

Other courses define the framework. These start with the trigger situation that demands it.

“Here is a clean dataset. Build a model.”

“Here is a messy business problem. Decide what to build.”

Real constraints, ambiguous requirements, no answer key. The way problems actually arrive.

“Here is how the algorithm works.”

“Here is the cognitive trap that makes people reach for the wrong algorithm.”

Availability bias in model selection. Sunk-cost in cloud decisions. Anchoring in diagnosis.

Why Framework First exists

The missing layer is when.

Most framework courses teach the what and the how, then stop. I know — I bought them. I earned the certificates. Then I sat in a leadership review, Scrum memorized to the bone, and couldn't answer the only question that mattered: why not Kanban for this team, this quarter?

That's the gap. Not more content. Judgment about timing.

I'm a practitioner, not an academic — 18+ years across digital marketing, operations, and project delivery. Everything here is a framework I've used, misused, or watched get misused at significant expense. You'll get the scar tissue along with the syllabus.

Fit

Who this is for — and who it isn't.

This is for you if…

  • You're an analyst, engineer, or manager being handed problems outside your job description
  • You've sat through courses that taught you the framework but never when to reach for it
  • You want one connected system — diagnose, automate, manage, deliver — not thirty disconnected certificates
  • You're willing to do real work: every course ends with you applying the framework to a scenario. No videos to half-watch at 2x.
  • You want the cognitive layer too — the biases that make smart people pick the wrong tool with complete confidence

This is not for you if…

  • You want a certificate wall, not a skill
  • You prefer video lectures you can watch at 2x while answering email
  • You are looking for interview question banks or exam dumps
  • You want motivation. I sell method.
  • You need someone to tell you there is one right answer. There isn't. That's the point.
